WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Friends of the Library Book Club: The next meeting is at 6 p.m. May 23, discussing “Go Tell It on the Mountain” by James Baldwin. All are welcome to join the book club discussions. Contact the library to participate.
Science Fiction/Fantasy Monthly Book Club: The next meeting is at 6 p.m. May 11 in the library’s program room. March’s topic was Gravitational Manipulation and April’s topic was Your Favorite Science Fiction or Fantasy Book. Youth programming
After School programs: Register at the library or by calling 295-5340. Students are responsible for their own ride to and from the library, and should be picked up by 5 p.m.
- Monday: Just Gurlz, for girls in grades 5-9, after school until 4:45 p.m.
- Tuesday: After-School Program (grades K-5), after school until 4:45 p.m.
- Wednesday: Storytime for toddlers and preschoolers, 10 to 11 a.m.
- Thursday: After-School Program (grades K-5), after school until 4:45 p.m.
- May 9: Wii U for grades 5-9, after school until 4:45 p.m.
- May 10: After-School Program (grades K-5), after school until 4:45 p.m.
Screen-Free Saturdays: The Adrian Branch library hosts Screen-Free Saturdays. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade are invited to come play games from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the library. Bring your favorite board game or play one available at the library. Screen Free Saturdays continue through May 21.
