New summer book club announces selections

Selected books will center around immigration and international conflict and will feature nationalities and cultures that are represented in Worthington.

WORTHINGTON — Community members are invited to Kivu Immigration Law’s Summer Book Club. Selected books will center around immigration and international conflict and will feature nationalities and cultures that are represented in Worthington.

All meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Kivu Immigration Law, 222 10th St., Worthington. RSVP is requested by email to leah@kivulaw.com. Dates and books are as follows:

May 18: The Beautiful Things that Heaven Bears, by Dinaw Mengestu

June 15: Enrique’s Journey, by Sonia Nazario

July 20: Undaunted: My Struggle for Freedom and Survival in Burma, by Zoya Phan
