ADRIAN — In August, the Nobles County Corn and Soybean Growers Association supported the Nobles County 4-H program by purchasing 150 pounds of pork loin at the Nobles County Fair 4-H fundraiser auction. The group’s winning bid was $2,600. The funds helped over 50 Nobles County youths attend the Minnesota State Fair.
The Nobles County Corn and Soybean Growers Association then donated the pork loin to the Adrian school district. The meat will be used at an upcoming school event.
“The Nobles County Corn and Soybean Growers Association is proud to support our local schools and county 4-H program,” President Matt Widboom said. “As a grassroots farmer organization, we’re dedicated to supporting our local communities. We look forward to continuing our engagement with youth programming well into the future.”
