WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Corn and Soybean Growers will host its annual meeting April 3, at the American Reformed Church, 1720 N. Burlington Ave., Worthington.
Registration begins at 5 p.m., with a steak supper served at 6 p.m., followed by speaker Bill Gordon.
Gordon, of Worthington, served as president of the American Soybean Association in 2020 after serving as the treasurer. He became a national director in 2012.
A fourth generation farmer in Nobles County, Gordon and his dad grow soybeans and corn. He also owns Worthington Tax and Business Services. Gordon is a member of the Nobles County and Minnesota Soybean Growers associations, completed the American Soybean Association Young Leader Program and is a graduate of the Minnesota Agriculture Rural Leadership program.
Gordon will talk about his experiences and opportunities he had while on the ASA board of directors.
