MARSHALL — Registrations are open for students in kindergarten through eighth grade for the Science & Nature Conference May 9 at Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall.
The conference features hands-on learning and demonstration sessions, allowing students to explore science-related topics they’re interested in, as well as a performance by professional yo-yo artist Dazzling Dave.
Participants may meet zoo animals, learn about birds, bugs, and snakes, or build rockets, bridges, circuits, and Lego robotics. They can discover the science behind weather, the ultracold, yo-yo's, cryogenics and more.
Schools and parents may register online through April 13.
