Trojan Speech Team takes 3rd at Minneota

A total of 14 competitors from the Trojans' team recieved awards for their performances.

MINNEOTA — The Worthington Trojan Speech Team placed third in Saturday’s contest in Minneota. Several students placed first in their categories, including Issac Kinser in Discussion, Bennet Oberloh in Informative, and Oziel Briones in Humorous Interpretation.

Elizabeth Martinez Castro, Evie Garcia, Jay Chavez, Alondra Leon Flores, Quinn Benz, Juicy Mi, Isabella Kuoame, and Marco Ramos also placed in the top eight final competitors for their respective categories. Mackenzie Platt, Lucy O’Donell, and Gisel Martinez all received awards of excellence for their performances.
