WORTHINGTON — Globe photojournalist Tim Middagh captured images of people and wildlife in the wintry weather during a trip through Worthington Tuesday morning.

Southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa received its first significant snowfall of the season on Tuesday. The snow made for a mess on local roadways, including 10th Street in front of the Thompson Hotel.
