Worthington Boy Scouts troop receives $1,000 donation from Buffalo Ridge Leathernecks

Money will be used to help pay for expenses for planned summer hikes.

The Buffalo Ridge Leathernecks Detachment 1463 of the Marine Corps League, Worthington, presented a $1,000 donation to the Boy Scouts of America Troop 134, Worthington, Monday evening. The funds will be used by the Scouts for their summer activities, including their plans for hiking trips to earn Merit badges. The Scouts plan to hike more than 50 miles this summer. Merit badges earned help the Scouts to work toward the top honor of becoming an Eagle Scout. SDONATION.jpg
