WORTHINGTON — Worthington High School students earned second place as a team in a speech tournament March 12 at St. Clair.
Among the students competing were Jenna Hoffman, first place in original oratory; Alondra Leon Flores, fourth place in original oratory; Emma Singler, fifth place in creative expression; Oziel Briones, first place in humorous expression; Elizabeth Martinez Castro, first place in extemporaneous reading; Jay Chavez, fourth place in novice extemporaneous reading, Austin Kinser, second place in novice extemporaneous reading; Bennet Oberloh, third place in informative; Isabella Kouame, fifth place in serious prose; and Isaac Kinser, sixth place in discussion.
