WORTHINGTON — Tessa Dierks has been selected as the new assistant principal at Worthington Middle School.
"We are excited for her new journey as our WMS assistant principal," said Anne Foley, public relations/communications coordinator for District 518.
Dierks, who graduated from Murray County Central High School, followed by Augustana University in 2004 and in 2017 with her master's degree, as well as Minnesota State University Moorhead this May.
She started her career in education as a paraprofessional at Murray County Central from 2004 to 2005, taught art classes for Lynd Public Schools from 2005 to 2010 and then taught art at Worthington High School from 2010 to 2014.
Dierks has been an instructional coach for District 518's Teaching & Learning Department since 2014.
