WORTHINGTON — Six southwest Minnesota school districts and 30 fifth- and sixth-graders participated in the Southwest Minnesota Spelling Bee Saturday at Hills-Beaver Creek Secondary School, Hills.
Worthington Middle School was represented by, from left, Preston Kumi, Aurora Ramos Ramos, Bria Steves, Dayden Duangapai and Bethany Abota.
Not pictured is Hai Nay Blay, who qualified to compete but was not able to attend.
Duangapai was first place alternate, Ramos Ramos earned second place and Steves took third.
