WORTHINGTON -- An accident on Interstate 90 east of Worthington tied up eastbound traffic for a while early Wednesday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the semitrailer rig rollover occurred at 4:35 a.m. Wednesday at mile marker 48. Dmitri V. Paramonov, 37, of Seattle, Wash., was driving a 2008 Volvo tractor hauling a load of lumber, when it left the roadway and entered the median. The driver corrected and the semi rolled, causing the lumber to spill and block the eastbound lanes of travel.
Paramonov was transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
