LUVERNE - Community Blood Bank and Sanford Luverne will host a community blood drive from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. on Aug. 7

Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with a signed parent consent form found at  www.cbblifeblood.org ), weigh 110 pounds or more and be in good general health. Please bring an ID. It’s recommended that a person eat and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating blood. The donation process takes 30 to 35 minutes on the bloodmobile.

 

Community Blood Bank is the sole provider of blood and blood products for Sanford Luverne and 33 other local hospitals. For information or to make an appointment, contact Sanford Luverne at (507) 283-2321 or log onto www.cbblifeblood.org . Walk-ins are always welcome.
