ROUND LAKE — A Worthington man was arrested Monday evening after a Round Lake resident reported a burglary.

The victim told police that Larry Lige, 26, had entered their home without permission and stole the victim's phone. Lige allegedly pushed the victim during the encounter, causing the victim to drop their baby.

Lige told officers that the victim owed him money on their shared phone plan.

Lige was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and misdemeanor assault. The burglary charge is a felony that carries a maximum possible sentence of 20 years in prison and/or a $35,000 fine, with a mandatory minimum of six months in prison. If convicted, Lige will be sentenced based on criminal history.

He was released from Nobles County Jail Thursday after posting non-cash bond.
