WORTHINGTON -- The Minnesota West men's basketball program announced three more signings for the upcoming season Friday as Craig Doty, Gordon Samford and Justin Lee all inked letters of intent.
Doty, from Alcester, S.D., is transferring from Dakota State University. He sat out last season as a medical redshirt. In his final year of high school at Alcester-Hudson, Doty averaged 26 points per game.
"Craig is a very athletic player that takes great pride in being the guy who wants to guard the best player on the other team," MW head coach Justin Heckenlaible said in a press release.
Sanford, who averaged 18 points per game at Princeton High School, has the ability to slash to the basket and create problems for opposing defenders. He is also very athletic, compared by Heckenlaible to former Bluejays forward Tut Yual.
Lee, who attended Chugiak High School in Eagle River, Alaska, averaged 10 points per game in his senior year.

"Justin is a very athletic big man that can run the floor well and he can also be physical in the post," Heckenlaible said in the release. "He is going to be a nice addition to the other big men we have on the roster."
The trio joins previous signees Chris Aggen and Zach Traphagen of Worthington, Lucas Isder of Fulda, Jordan Kocak from JCC, Ben Schmesing of Swanville, and Eddie Marrs from Omaha, Neb.
