Missing Westbrook teen is found

WESTBROOK -- A 17-year Westbrook female who had been missing since last week has been found, the Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday on its Facebook page.

WESTBROOK - A 17-year Westbrook female who had been missing since last week has been found, the Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday on its Facebook page.

According to a social media post last week, Melissa A. Keithahn, 17, was last seen on the  morning of Oct. 23 when she was picked up by an unidentified individual for school. She did not report to school that day and hadn’t been seen since.

Authorities believed she was in the Owatonna area. The Westbrook Police Department and Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office requested the public’s help last Friday in locating the teen.

No additional information was available Tuesday morning.
