LUVERNE - Minnesota West Community and Technical College Luverne Center will host a 10-year anniversary celebration on Monday.
From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., guests are invited to celebrate the college’s presence in the community with refreshments and tours.
The Luverne Center opened in fall 2007 as part of a joint effort between Minnesota West, Sanford Health Systems and the city of Luverne. The center was formerly the hospital until 2005, when Sanford opened the current hospital and medical clinic in north Luverne.
The Luverne Center also houses Luverne City Hall.
Since its opening in 2007, the center has facilitated for radiologic technology, surgical technology, medical assistant, medical laboratory technical, phlebotomy and liberal arts programs, in which 403 degrees to 373 students have been awarded.
