SLAYTON - The no wake restriction has been lifted on all Murray County lakes, with the exception of Lake Shetek and Bloody Lake, according to Murray County Sheriff Steve Telkamp.
Restrictions for Lake Shetek and Bloody Lake will remain in effect until further notice due to continuing high water levels. Boaters are asked to be cautious, as there may still be debris. Boaters who come across debris on the lake are asked to remove it if possible; they should otherwise tie a plastic jug on it in an attempt to mark it and notify the Sheriff’s Office at (507) 836-6168.
