JUNE M. THOMPSON STIEHM, 61, of Eagle Grove, formerly of Alpha, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at her home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove, from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Osterberg Funeral Home, Jackson, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Jackson.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Eagle Grove, and 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Jackson, with the Rev. Martin Lucin officiating. Burial will be in Hauges Cemetery, rural Jackson.

PAMELA KATHERINE STOLEN, 48, of Wilmont, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, at her home.
Born Dec. 15, 1958, in Grand Forks, N.D., she was the daughter of Peter and Dorothy Borowicc Orcutt. She married Kelby Stolen June 14, 1989.
She graduated from Bloomington High School. She lived in various places, most recently in Wilmont.
Surviving are her husband; father, Peter Orcutt, Albuquerque, N.M.; mother, Dorothy Orcutt, Bloomington; three sons, Bradley Stolen, Wilmont, Zachary Stolen, Windom, and Randy Orcutt; two daughters, Pandora Stolen, Windom, and Kristina Stolen, Worthington; two brothers, David Orcutt, Bloomington, and Kevin Orcutt; and one sister, Debbie Peters.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Dingmann Funeral Home, Worthington.
The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Dingmann Funeral Home, with Roxanne Kemper officiating. Burial will be in Wilmont Cemetery.
LEONA RING, 90, of Sherburn, formerly of Ihlen, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, at Fairmont Medical Center-Mayo Health System, Fairmont.

Born Feb. 24, 1916, in rural Holland, she was the daughter of Fredrick and Selma Weinkauf Wittfoth. She married James Ring June 27, 1936, in Ihlen. He died Nov. 13, 1977.
She attended school in Holland. After marriage, they lived in Ihlen, then moved to Rutland, S.D., Bellingham, Olivia and then to Dunnell. They later moved into Sherburn. She became a resident of Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in 2006. She was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Dunnell.
Surviving are four children, Janice Ring, Woodbury, Nancy (Bill) Zeigler, Emmetsburg, Iowa, James (Amanda) Ring Jr., Spirit Lake, and Richard (Barbara) Ring, Welcome; one sister, Pearl Buffington, Pipestone; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Kramer Family Funeral Home, Welcome, and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hartquist Funeral Chapel, Pipestone.
The service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hartquist Funeral Chapel, Pipestone, with the Rev. Jon Olson officiating. Burial will be in Ihlen Cemetery.
CAROLINE RIEBELING, 86, of Thornton, Colo., died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, at her home.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Roste Funeral Home, George, Iowa.

JEANETTE THYNES, 70, of Sumter, S.C., formerly of Round Lake, died Feb. 8, 2007, at Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, N.C.
Born in Harnett County, N.C., she was the daughter of C.C. and Mary Lou Cummings. She married Merlyon "Gene" Thynes.
She grew up in Raven Rock, N.C. She and her husband lived in Round Lake while he was employed as a supervisor for Campbell Soup Co. They moved to Sumter in the early 1970s. She was a member of First Assembly of God, Sumter.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Gary Thynes, Chris (Paula) Thynes and Jason (Judi) Thynes; two daughters, Jennifer Casselman and Amy (Mark) Gibson; one brother, Wintford (Selma) Cummings; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The service was at Raven Rock Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Raven Rock Presbyterian Cemetery.

MILDRED LUVERNA MORK, 91, of Worthington, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Crossroads Care Center, Worthington.
Born Jan. 11, 1916, in Bricelyn, she was the daughter of Iver and Cora Gullord Almlie. She married Raymond O. Mork Aug. 1, 1942, in Denver, Colo. He preceded her in death.

She grew up and graduated from high school in Bricelyn and then worked at the local department store. After marriage, she worked at a munitions factory in Arden Hills while Ray served in the U.S. Army. After the war, they lived briefly in Minneapolis and then settled in Worthington in 1948. She was a homemaker and also was bookkeeper for her husband's business. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir and helped make hundreds of quits for missions. She also served as an election judge.
Surviving are two sons, Paul (Pam) Mork and Robert (Carol) Mork, Bemidji; one sister, Mae (Vernon) Kimball, Blaine; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Worthington.
The service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Richard Ricker officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Bricelyn Lutheran Cemetery.

PHYLLIS NERGAARD, 84, of Luverne, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at the Mary Jane Brown Home, Luverne.
Born Jan. 21, 1923, in Remsen, Iowa, she was the daughter of Frank and Dena Rann Sanny. She married Martin Nergaard May 22, 1947, in Sioux Falls, S.D. He died in October 1995.
She graduated in 1940 from Luverne High School. She worked at a steel plant in Chicago, Ill., and later at Sioux Steel in Sioux Falls, S.D., and Terrace Park Dairy in Luverne. After marriage, they lived in Luverne, where she worked in many occupations after her children were in school. In 1964, she became an Avon representative, continuing until 1995. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Grace Lutheran Church Women, Luverne American Legion Auxiliary, Luverne Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Luverne Senior Citizens, Prime Timers and was an RSVP volunteer.

Surviving are three sons, Richard Nergaard, Morton, Ill., Martin (Barbara) Nergaard, Minnetonka, and Tom (Vonnie) Nergaard, Luverne; one sister, Betty Johnson, Luverne; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the new Dingmann Funeral Home, 300 N. Kniss, Luverne.
The memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Dingmann Funeral Chapel, Luverne, with the Rev. Maurice Hagen officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Luverne.
LENA K. WACKERBARTH, 96, of Ocheyedan, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Osceola Community Hospital, Sibley, Iowa.
Born April 6, 1910, in Flandreau, S.D., she was the daughter of Henry and Anna Tiedeman Hai. She married Erwin Wackerbarth Nov. 19, 1934, in Sanborn, Iowa. He died Jan. 17, 2005.
She grew up and attended country school in Flandreau. As a teen, she lived in Flandreau and Brookings, S.D., where she worked as a housekeeper, doing alterations, ironing and cleaning. At age 17, she moved to Sanborn, Iowa, and worked for the M.M. Burns family. After marriage, they farmed southwest of Melvin, Iowa. They later owned a grocery store for three years in May City, Iowa. They moved to Sibley, Iowa, and later to Raymond. In 1944, they moved to Ocheyedan. They were both employed by Standard Oil in 1950. She took fuel tank delivery orders at home for 20 years. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ocheyedan.
Surviving are one daughter, Coleen Mae (Richard) Lienemann, Tijeras, N.M.; one son, Erwin "Willie" (Dianne) Wackerbarth Jr., Spirit Lake, Iowa; one brother, Lewis (Ruth) Hais, Sioux Falls, S.D.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m., at Andringa Funeral Chapel, Ocheyedan.
