STEPHEN M. AYLWARD, 25, of Jackson, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at his home. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Osterberg Funeral Home, Jackson, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Worthington Christian Church. The service will be 11 a.m.

The service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Worthington Christian Church, with Dan Beerman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch, Shelbina, Mo., or the Worthington Christian Church.

MORRIS E. NIELSEN, 60, of Worthington, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at Avera McKennan Select Specialty Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Born Jan. 23, 1947, in Tracy, he was the son of Walter and Elizabeth Jarvis Nielsen. He married Lynn Lenz Jan. 25, 1969, in Tracy.

He attended elementary school in Revere. He later attended Walnut Grove High School and Pipestone Vocational School. He entered the U.S. Army and served in Germany as a cook during the Vietnam War. After marriage, they lived in Fulda. In 1978, they moved to Worthington, where he worked at SuperValu, which later became County Market, as a meat cutter for more than 24 years. He retired in 1994 because of health reasons. He was a member of American Lutheran Church, Worthington.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, DeAnn (Dave) Kirlin, Avoca, and Dawn (Alfredo) Torres, Worthington; his mother, Lamberton; one sister, Betty (Donnie) Halvorson, Blue Earth; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at American Lutheran Church, Worthington.

The service will be 1 p.m. Monday at American Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Mike Zaske officiating.

Dingmann Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Worthington, is in charge of arrangements.

FLOYD NORMAN JACKSON, 96, of Luverne, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, at Tuff Memorial Home, Hills.

Born Aug. 6, 1910, on a farm near Seney, Iowa, he was the son of Clarence and Mary Eason Jackson. He married Ilene Oldre March 28, 1941, at Immanuel Lutheran Church Parsonage, Luverne. She died in January 1999.

He moved with his family to a farm near Kenneth in 1920. He received his education through the eighth grade. He then worked on the family farm while helping out on neighboring farms. A short time later, he began farming on his own as he rented a farm north of Kenneth. After marriage, they lived on the farm. In 1958, they bought a farm north of Hardwick and continued farming until 1992. He retired in September 1992, and they moved to Luverne. He became a resident of the Tuff Memorial Home, Hills, Nov. 14, 2006. He was a former member of Kenneth Lutheran Church, where he served on the church board and Blue Mound Lutheran Church near Luverne, where he served as a deacon and on the Blue Mound Lutheran Cemetery board. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Luverne.

Surviving are four children; Donald (fiancée Delores Walters) Jackson, Sioux Falls, S.D., Milton (Susie) Jackson, Sioux Falls, David (Gwendolyn) Jackson, Brandon, S.D., Dorothy Kraayenhof, Luverne; one sister, Marllys Erickson, Sioux Falls; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Grace Lutheran Church, Luverne.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, Luverne. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Luverne.

Hartquist Funeral Home, Luverne, is in charge of arrangements.

SHIRLEY MILLER, 72, of Ellsworth, died Tuesday, January 30, 2007, at her home.

Born July 30, 1934, in Ellsworth, she was the daughter of John and Marion Miller.

She grew up in Ellsworth and graduated from Ellsworth High School. She worked at Ellsworth Produce for a few years and then worked as a cook at the Ellsworth High School for nearly 30 years until her retirement.

Surviving are one brother, Warren Miller, Worthington; and two sisters, Georgia (Clayton) Norell, Darfur, and Brenda Mickelson, Sioux Falls, S.D.

The service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Adrian Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grand Prairie Cemetery, Ellsworth.
