GORDON A. HANSEN, 85, of Jackson, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at Good Samaritan Center, Jackson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Osterberg Funeral Home, Jackson, and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Jackson.

The service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Jackson, with the Rev. Martin Lucin and the Rev. Dan Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Hauge's Cemetery, rural Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the radio ministry of Our Savior's Lutheran Church or Jackson Good Samaritan Center.

OLGA TWYFORD, 89, of Yankton, S.D., died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at Avera Yankton Care Center, Yankton.

Born Aug. 27, 1916, in Wagner, S.D., she was the daughter of John and Hattie Kalda Swartz. She married Veryl Twyford June 25, 1948, in Avon. He preceded her in death.

She attended country school through the eighth grade and then graduated from Avon High School. She worked at a variety and gift shop in Wagner and then later worked at Rivens Grocery Store. In 1958, the couple moved to Yankton and she worked at the Human Services Center for 19½ years. She was a member of the church choir and was a den mother of the Cub Scouts for two years. She was also a room mother for the kindergarten and first grade class in Yankton for two years.

Surviving are one son, Terry (Thomasa) Twyford, Omaha, Neb.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at Wintz & Ray Funeral Home, Yankton, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Yankton.

The service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Yankton, with Parish Assistant Carli Steffes officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Yankton.

SHIRLEY M. WERNER, 81, of Worthington, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at Sunset Cottage, Worthington.

Born March 11, 1924, in St. Paul, she was the daughter of George and Inza Bloedel Fabel. She married Ralph Werner April 12, 1946, in Brooklyn, N.Y.

She graduated from Worthington High School in 1942, and later went to I.B.M. School in Minneapolis. She worked for the Sioux Falls, S.D., Gas Co. In 1944, she joined the U.S. Coast Guard, serving two years at the U.S. Naval Supply Depot in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was discharged in 1946. Following marriage, the couple moved to Worthington in 1946. She worked for Worthington Printing and Doris Doty Ladies Wear. In 1980, the couple began spending winters in Mesa, Ariz. In 2003, they returned to Worthington full time. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Worthington.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Linda (Dennis) Hehn, Long Beach, Calif.; one brother, Stanley Fabel, Mesa, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Home, Worthington.

The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Gordon Orde officiating. A private family burial will precede the service at Worthington Cemetery.

ELSIE J. HAUSMANN, 90, of Worthington, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at South Shore Care Center, Worthington.

Arrangements are pending with Dingmann Funeral Home, Worthington.

HENRY W. VANDEN BOSCH, 81, of Mesa, Ariz., and formerly of Edgerton and Orange City, Iowa, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at Hospice of the Valley, Mesa.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Oolman Funeral Home, Orange City.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Reformed Church, Maurice, Iowa, with the Rev. Wayne Sneller officiating. A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hillside Cemetery, Edgerton, with the Rev. Timothy Brown officiating.

LLOYD ROALD ENSTAD, 98, of Westbrook, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at the Westbrook Hospital.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service, at Westbrook Funeral Home, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Old Westbrook Lutheran Church.

The service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Old Westbrook Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

JACOB "JAKE" STRAITMEIER, 19, of Sibley, Iowa, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at his home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Walton-Roste Funeral Home, Sibley.

The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, Sibley, with the Rev. Terry Simm officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date in Holman Township Cemetery, Sibley.

TED FELLOWS, 101, of Pipestone, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at Good Samaritan Communities, Pipestone.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with a 7:30 p.m. Masonic service, at Hartquist Funeral Home, Pipestone Chapel.

CLEONA NELSON, 90, of Pipestone, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at Pipestone County Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hartquist Funeral Home, Pipestone Chapel.

The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church, Pipestone. Burial is in the Jasper City Cemetery.
