Therese "Tiki" Koudelka, died Monday, March 31, 2008 at Regional Health Services Hospital in Cresco from cancer. She was 56 years of age.

Therese Rose Koudelka was born on December 31, 1951 in Adrian, Minnesota, the daughter of James and Rose (Cox) Klein. She was baptized and confirmed in her faith at St. Adrian Catholic Church and attended school at St. Adrian Catholic School graduating from St. Adrian High School in 1969. She attended nursing school at St. Mary's in Rochester, Minnesota to receive her LPN degree. She then received her registered nursing degree from NICC in Calmar, Iowa where she was the President of her class and spoke at graduation.

On November 27, 1971, she was united in marriage to Donald Koudelka at St. Adrian Catholic Church in Adrian. They became the parents of three children; Anna, Jeffrey, and Angela.

Tiki was a registered nurse and was presently Director of Nursing at the Evans Memorial Home in Cresco. She enjoyed dancing, sewing, motorcycle riding, bowling, Las Vegas vacations and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She belonged to a Birthday Club in Protivin. She touched the lives of many people through her kindness and caring.

She is survived by three children: Anna (Darin) Schmauss of Cresco, IA; Jeff (Jenny) Koudelka of Ankeny, IA; and Angie Koudelka of Clive, IA; three grandchildren: Ashlyn and Cole Schmauss and Kaylee Koudelka; her fiance Bill Ondrashek of Protivin, her mother Rose Klein of Springfield, MO; two sisters: Patricia (Jon) Ross of Hutchinson, MN; Kathleen (Paul) Lais of Springfield, MO; five brothers: Jay Klein of Worthington, MN; Fr. Eugene Klein of Springfield, MO; Robert (JoAnn) Klein of Conrad, IA; John (Mary) Klein of Apple Valley, MN; Michael (Janet) Klein of Cannon Falls, MN. She was preceded in death by her father in 1994 and a sister in law Anita Klein.

Services were held on Thursday, April 3, 2008, at 10:30 a.m., at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Protivin, IA, with Rev. Eugene Klein and Rev. David M. Beckman officiating. Burial was in the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Protivin, IA.
