What prompted you to run for county commissioner? I have been fortunate to reside in Cottonwood County my entire life, raising my family and gaining over 36 years of intensive public sector involvement. The county has been a great place to live, work and grow, and I am committed to establishing a positive future for county residents.
Do you have experience in leadership or local government? My occupation has provided me with a long, extensive involvement with city and various county projects, developments, budgets and working heavily with area residents. I like Cottonwood County and want to use the knowledge base and strong background I have to create and sustain positive qualities for the county. I feel it is very important to use my experience in combination with fair, common sense, good decision making skills to ensure the best interests of county residents.
What do you think is the most important issue in your county? Three important issues for Cottonwood County are:

1. Financial. It is crucial to be a good steward of taxpayers' money. I will make certain to promote the best use of funds.
2. Business. I wan to help make Cottonwood County an attractive, inviting place where businesses can grow and sustain employees in our active, rural economy.
3. County Employees. Strengthening and maintaining positive, healthy relationships with County employees is very important to me.
