Operation Round Up apps accepted

WORTHINGTON -- By volunteering to round-up their utility bills, Nobles Cooperative Electric members are helping their neighbors and their communities through Operation Round Up.

WORTHINGTON -- By volunteering to round-up their utility bills, Nobles Cooperative Electric members are helping their neighbors and their communities through Operation Round Up.

Operation Round Up helps people and organizations by providing financial assistance to non-profit organizations in Murray and Nobles counties. Organizations that serve these communities can request funds for projects involving: community service, economic development, environment, disaster relief, education and youth.

Operation Round Up applications are being accepted for fall funding until Sept. 4. Non-profit organizations are welcome to apply to Nobles Cooperative Electric's Operation Round Up Trust for donation assistance. Application forms are available online at www.noblesce.coop or by calling the cooperative at 372-7331 or (507) 836-6107.

More than $165,000 has been awarded locally thus far.
