CURRIE - Painted Prairie Vineyard, 1575 250th Ave., Currie, will wrap up the 2017 winery season with a weekend celebration.
In addition to wine tasting from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday (includes five Painted Prairie wine varieties and Kopper Cider, a hard apple cider made from Stonegate Orchard apples), weekend events include a Chalk Design and Wine Class from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday; and a roast beef sandwich fundraising dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. to support the 2018 Holy Redeemer Youth Group trip. Local band Roots of Oak will perform from 5 to 7 p.m.
Appetizers and wine tasting will be available from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday. All craft beer will be two-for-one the entire weekend.
Bottles of wine are available for purchase as well as local craft beer from Brau Brothers Beer and Take 16 Brewery.
