Panthers, Blackjacks each pick up victories in Little Sioux games

TRACY -- The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers opened up a 36-0 lead through three quarters and never looked back in a 42-6 victory against Fulda Thursday night.

Isaac Dolan was 9-for-16 passing for 156 yards and two touchdowns, and also had 33 yards rushing.

John Swenhaugen (five receptions, 91 yards) had a 14-yard touchdown run and an 11-yard touchdown reception as T-M-B (7-0) had a 15-0 lead.

Josh Hook caught a 10-yard pass from Dolan for the third Panther touchdown, and Swenhaugen had a 16-yard run to paydirt.

Swenhaugen scored on a 22-yard reception from Shane Erickson as T-M-B had a 36-0 lead.

Fulda's Andy Henning (78 yards rushing on 13 carries) scored from three yards out, but T-M-B's Aaron Hohler had an 83-yard fumble return as the Panthers went on to a 42-6 victory.

Fulda (2-5) quarterback Jalen Getting completed five passes for 40 yards.

The Raiders host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Wednesday night, while T-M-B hosts Minneota (7-0) for the Little Sioux Conference championship.

Dawson-Boyd 48, Adrian 13

DAWSON -- Junior tailback Matt Anderson rushed 29 times for 331 yards, including a 91-yard touchdown dash, leading Dawson-Boyd to a 35-point victory over Adrian in Little Sioux football action.

Anderson finished the game with six rushing touchdowns, as the Blackjacks (6-1) ground out 372 yards and passed for 60 more.

Scoring 21 points in the second quarter, Dawson-Boyd built up a 35-7 lead after three periods.

Adrian (3-4) sustained a pair of long drives, scoring on Jesse Brake's 6-yard run in the second quarter, and capping another march with Brett Nowotny's 1-yard quarterback sneak early in the fourth period.

Brake finished with 100 yards rushing, including several long runs in the second half, to lead the Dragon ground game -- which had a total of 168 yards.

Nowotny completed 5 of 13 passes for 60 yards, including two to Danny Parsley for 41 yards.

Nowotny and Parsley connected on a fourth-and-3 situation that allowed Adrian to continue its second-half touchdown drive.

Brock Bullerman had a team-leading 10 tackles for the Dragons, who host Murray County Central Wednesday.
