PIPESTONE - A Pipestone woman who admittedly exposed herself to a child under 13 years of age whom she babysat has been charged in Pipestone County District Court.
Taniyah Klumper, 21, has been charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct after allegedly exposing her bare chest and encouraging the child to perform a sex act. The felony-level charge is punishable up to 30 years imprisonment, a $40,000 fine or both.
According to the criminal complaint, Klumper texted the parents of the child her admission to exposure. The parents and Klumper discussed her behavior, but did not initially report it.
Another text message send by Klumper to the parents that provided further details was what caused the parents to report the incident to law enforcement.
Klumper’s bail was set at $2,500 with conditions or $25,000 without. Her initial appearance is scheduled for July 3 in Pipestone County District Court.
