WORTHINGTON - A planning meeting for the Worthington farmers markets will be at 5:30 p.m. April 13 at the Center for Active Living, 211 11th St., Worthington.
The downtown farmers market runs during the growing season from 4 to 7 p.m. each Tuesday in the parking lot at Second Avenue and 10th Street. The Saturday market is from 6:30 a.m. to noon at the Ace Hardware parking lot on Oxford Street.
At the planning meeting, ideas will be shared, and the start dates of the markets will be set. New vendors who are interested in being a part of the market are encouraged to attend.
Producers who would like to sell fresh produce and/or baked goods at the Worthington Farmers Market can call the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce, 372-2919, or email wcofc@frontiernet.net . Registration fee must be paid before the market begins.
