WORTHINGTON -- The retail committee of the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for producers who want to sell items at a new downtown Farmers Market.
The downtown Farmers Market will be Tuesdays from 4:30 to 7 p.m. during the summer in the former Campbell's Soup parking lot at the end of 10th Street.
Worthington has a weekly Saturday Farmers Market in the Runnings parking lot. The weeknight market will give producers another place to sell their goods, and it will give area residents a chance to buy locally grown products.
Producers who would like to sell fresh produce and/or baked goods at the downtown Farmers Market can call Amanda Walljasper, 372-7127, or e-mail amanda@schafershealth.com by April 15.
