Reading teenager dies in Saturday rollover crash

LISMORE — A Reading teenager was killed and another injured Saturday afternoon as the result of a one-vehicle rollover crash between Lismore and Wilmont.

According to a press release received Monday from the Nobles County Sheriff's Office, Carter M. Braun sustained fatal injuries after being ejected from a 2004 Ford pickup on 150th Street west of Durfee Avenue. The crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m.

Another 15-year-old male who was also ejected from the vehicle reportedly sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to Sanford Worthington.

The crash remains under investigation.

The Nobles County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol, Adrian Ambulance and Lismore Rescue.
