Methodist women offer salad luncheon
LUVERNE -- The Magnolia United Methodist Women will host a salad luncheon today at the American Legion in Luverne.
Serving will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

LAKEFIELD -- A Mother's Day dinner will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church, 520 Cherry St., Lakefield.

Grilled chicken breast or hamburger, a variety of salads, dessert and beverages will be served.
Advance tickets are available at Savings Bank, Hilltop Café and Nissen TV and Appliance, all in Lakefield. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

FULDA -- Vacation Bible School will be June 2-6 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fulda. From 9 to 11:30 a.m. each day, students age 4 through sixth grade will participate in activities including Bible stories, crafts, snacks, music and recreation with the theme "Friendship Trek: Jesus, Your Forever Friend."

VBS set for June 9-13 at St. Matthew Lutheran
WORTHINGTON -- St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 1505 Dover St., will have Vacation Bible School Day Camp June 9-13. Children in first through fifth grade can attend from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The preschool and kindergarten program will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. June 9 and 11.
