Reward offered for information on area fugitive

Candi Jo Rethwill

MINNEAPOLIS — The Twin Cities Apprehension Team (TCAT) is offering $1,000 for a tip that leads to the arrest of a Lakefield woman TCAT has labeled a wanted fugitive.

Candi Jo Rethwill, alias Alisha Jonsgaard, 32, has multiple felony warrants for her arrest in Nobles and Cottonwood counties. After being arrested and released on bail, Rethwill failed to appear in district court, leading to the involvement of TCAT in the case.

Rethwill is known to frequent Heron Lake, Lakefield and Worthington, and may be spotted in those areas.

"Rethwill also has ties to Iowa," the TCAT report detailed, "and may consider crossing the border to avoid arrest/prosecution in her criminal matters."

Anyone who sees or has information about Rethwill's whereabouts is invited to call the 24-hour TCAT tip line at (612) 254-7400. The tip that leads TCAT investigators to Rethwill will be rewarded with $1,000. All tips are confidential.
