‘Rock 4 Vets’ slated for Nov. 26

OKOBOJI, Iowa - A music performance and dance at which veterans will be honored, and featuring popular rock music groups, will take place in the Iowa Great Lakes.

OKOBOJI, Iowa – A music performance and dance at which veterans will be honored, and featuring popular rock music groups, will take place in the Iowa Great Lakes.

  Called “Rock 4 Vets,” this event and others around the state are hoste annually by the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association (IRRMA) based in Arnolds Park, Iowa. At each event, veterans and active duty personnel are admitted free.

  This year’s Okoboji Rock 4 Vets event will be at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 26 at the Spirit Lake VFW, located at 918 Lake St. The event will feature hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 p.m., a military appreciation program from 6 to 7 p.m, and music by BB & the Bullfrogs and the IRRMA Military All-Stars from 7 to 9 p.m.
