Holly J. Timmer and Derek J. Sammons were married July 22 at the Christian Reformed Church, Rock Rapids, Iowa.

Parents of the couple are Arnold and Doris Timmer, Ellsworth, and James and Christine Sammons, Beaver Creek.

Matron of honor was Jenny Zylstra. Bridesmaids were Jody Kramer, Polly Timmer, Jessica Timmer, Amy Timmer and Jessica Heikes. Flower girls were Claire Kramer and Avery Zylstra.

Best man was Justin VanMaanen. Groomsmen were Kyle Sammons, Matt Timmer, Chris Timmer, Aaron Zylstra and Travis Broesder. Ushers were Wade Jellema, Eric Harnack, Matt Feucht and Brad Haak. Ring bearer was Jacob Timmer.

The reception was at the Blue Mound Banquet Center, Luverne.

The bride is employed by Minnesota State University, Mankato.

The groom is employed by Country Cupboards, Luverne.

Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple live in Ellsworth.
