WORTHINGTON ― A single-vehicle rollover accident occurred Monday morning south of Worthington.
The Peterbilt semi tractor-trailer was traveling south on Nobles County 5 at 11:25 a.m. when it was "unable to navigate the right turn in the road" as it curved to 320th Street, according to a press release from the Nobles County Sheriff's Office. The semi continued straight and rolled into the south ditch.
The driver was a 56-year-old Worthington resident, and he was transported by ambulance to Sanford Worthington Medical Center.
In addition to the Nobles County Sheriff's Office, Sanford Ambulance and Round Lake Rescue assisted at the scene.
