Ardys LaVonne Torkelson, 75, of Lamberton, died Friday, April 25, 2008, at Season's Hospice, Redwood Falls.
Surviving are her husband, Dick Torkelson, Lamberton; four sons, Richard Jr. (Betty) Torkelson, Windom, David (Kim) Torkelson, Ramsey, Robert (Pamela) Torkelson, Crookston, John (Bonnie) Torkelson, Ladson, S.C.; three daughters, Marilyn (Steven) Straumann, Hutchinson, Carolyn (Rick) Fischer, St. James, and Jan (Mark) Benedict, Lamberton; one brother, John Holmes, New Ulm; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Sturm Funeral Home, Lamberton, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Lamberton.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Lamberton, with the Rev. Lee Harder officiating. Burial will be in Lamberton Cemetery.
