Darel G. Den Beste, 70, of Sheldon, died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center, Sheldon.
Surviving are his wife, Jo Ann Den Beste, Sheldon; one son, Terry Den Beste, Dakota Dunes, S.D.; one daughter, Suzie (Al) Mataloni, Urbandale, Iowa; two brothers, Alvin Den Beste, Sheldon, and Wayne (Theresa) Den Beste, Marquette, Mich.; and one sister, Darlene Struyk, Sheldon.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Andringa Funeral Home, Sheldon Funeral Service, Sheldon.
The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sheldon, with the Rev. Mark Kukkonen officiating. Burial will be 10:15 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Sheldon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Northwest Iowa Hospice and June E. Nylen Cancer Center, Sioux City, Iowa.
