Garrett Post, 86, of Sibley, died Monday, June 30, 2008, at Country View Manor, Sibley.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanette "Jean" Post, Sibley; five children, Phyllis (Art) Attema, Sioux Center, Iowa, Doug (Betty) Post, Los Gatos, Calif., Judy (Dave) Graanstra, Harris, Iowa, Donna (Lee) Van Grouw, Rock Valley, Iowa, and Kevin (Robin) Post, Inwood, Iowa; one sister, Lena Meurs, Fulton, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, with a family prayer service at 10:15 a.m., at Christian Reformed Church, Ocheyedan, Iowa, with the Rev. John Knoester officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Ocheyedan Township Cemetery, Ocheyedan.
Andringa Funeral Home, Sibley, is in charge of arrangements.
