Walter "Walt" Ver Meer, 83, of Little Rock, died Friday, July 11, 2008, at Sanford Hospital, Rock Rapids, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Jurrens Funeral Home, Rock Rapids.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Jurrens Funeral Home, Rock Rapids, with the Rev. Scott Burdsall officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Little Rock.
