Tami Slivnik, St. Stephen, and Kyle Shaughnessy, Melrose, announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Frank and Annette Slivnik, St. Stephen, and Pat and Karen Shaughnessy, Worthington.
Slivnik is a 2003 graduate of Sartell High School and 2007 graduate of the College of St. Benedict. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Royalton Elementary School, Royalton.
Shaughnessy is a 2003 graduate of Worthington High School and 2007 graduate of St. John's University. He is employed as a fifth-grade teacher at Melrose Elementary School, Melrose.
They plan a Nov. 22 wedding in St. Stephen.
