SRDC committee meeting is July 29

SLAYTON - The Southwest Regional Development Commission Transportation Committee will meet at 2:30 p.m. July 29, at the Center for Regional Development Offices, 2401 Broadway Ave., Slayton.
The majority of this annual meeting will involve discussions with MnDOT District 7 staff and District 8 Engineer and staff from Mankato and Willmar on transportation issues in the region. Other items of business include action on the 2014-2015 Functional Classification update, learning the status of state transportation plans, an update and request for outreach assistance on Safe Routes to School, and Corridor Coalition updates.
