WORTHINGTON - AARP tax volunteers will again be providing free tax counseling and electronic filing of tax returns in Worthington. Trained and certified volunteers will be working at the Center for Active Living, 211 11th St., Worthington.
In order to use this service, an appointment must first be scheduled by calling the Worthington Area YMCA at 376-6197. Appointments are available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays and 9 to 11 a.m. Thursdays.
This service is available to all low- and middle-income persons regardless of age, race or religion. The program is funded by AARP.
