MANKATO — The start of the detour from north of Adrian to north of Lismore and Minnesota 91 from U.S. 14 to Russell been delayed one more time.

The contractor for the Minnesota 91 project has delayed the start of the detour from north of Adrian to north of Lismore and Highway 91 from Highway 14 to Russell until Aug. 1 or Aug. 5 as it prepares for bridge and culvert work. The detour was supposed to begin July 15, and was then pushed back to July 22 and then an additional week.

Minnesota 91 from Adrian to Lismore traffic will be detoured to Nobles County 35, 15 and 16 for about one month. Minnesota 91 from U.S. 14 to Russell will be detoured west on U.S. 14 and north on Minnesota 23 until mid-November.

The construction project includes bridge replacements and rural box culvert construction that requires detouring Minnesota 91. Resurfacing will be completed as well as sidewalk and driveway improvements in Adrian and Lake Wilson and additional lighting at rural intersections.
