WORTHINGTON — The Minnesota 60 roundabout work that was planned to begin soon has now been delayed until late next spring or early summer, according to Nobles County Public Works Director Stephen Schnieder. The delays were the result of funding not being available in 2020.
Earlier this week, Nobles County commissioners approved a detour agreement to be in effect during the length of the work. That agreement will still cover the project next year, Schnieder said.
Schnieder also reported that the Interstate 90 bridge replacement on Minnesota 91 at Adrian will begin next spring. Minnesota 91 will be closed and a detour using County State Aid Highways 35, 15 and 14 will be used. I-90 traffic will use the on-off ramps to bypass the bridge work. Highway 91 will have access to the interstate, but only in one direction.
