Alvin and Alvina Kooiman, Worthington, and Sturgis and Gail Van Vugt, Sioux Center, Iowa, announce the engagement of their children, Dawn Kooiman and Tim Van Vugt.
Kooiman is a graduate of Dordt College, Sioux Center. She is employed as a supervisor at a domestic violence shelter in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Van Vugt is a graduate of Southeast Technical College, Sioux Falls. He is employed as a civil engineering technician at JSA Engineering, Sioux Falls.
They plan a Sept. 12 wedding at the Christian Reformed Church, Worthington.
