Libby Tims and Dave Vander Grift announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Bob and Donna Tims and David and LaVonne Vander Grift, all of Worthington.
Tims is a 2006 graduate of Worthington High School. She is currently a sophomore at the University of Sioux Falls, Sioux Falls, S.D., and is employed at Wells Fargo Bank, Sioux Falls. She plans to attend Dordt College, Sioux Center, Iowa, in the fall.
Vander Grift is a 2000 graduate of Southwest Christian High School. He is employed as operations manager at Pizza Ranch, Worthington. He also plans to attend Dordt College in the fall.
They plan an Aug. 16 wedding.
