Julie A. Strandberg and Lucas VanWyhe, both of Sioux Falls, S.D., announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Douglas and Becky Strandberg, Worthington, and Marv and Lyn VanWyhe, Spirit Lake, Iowa.
Strandberg is a 2000 graduate of Sioux Valley-Round Lake-Brewster High School and 2002 graduate of National American University. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota, Crookston. She is employed at Bethany Lutheran Home, Sioux Falls.
VanWyhe is a 2000 graduate of Spirit Lake High School. He is employed by Dakota Corrugated Box Inc., Sioux Falls.
The couple plan an April 14 wedding.
