WORTHINGTON - The Sanford Metabolic and Bariatric Surgical Program and Sanford Worthington Medical Center are offering a weight loss surgery support group.
The session will be via videoconference from 7 to 8 p.m. March 21 in the Crailsheim Room at Sanford Worthington Medical Center.
The presenter will not be located in Worthington, but will be shown through video on a television connect over video from Sioux Falls, S.D. The topics vary. There is no cost to attend, and registration is not necessary.
The bariatric back on track class is hosted quarterly by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgical Program in Sioux Falls. It is for all weight loss surgery patients, regardless of which surgery was done. The class is led by Bariatric Coordinator Stephanie Wessels, RN, dietitian Leanne Chesshir and nurse practitioner Kristin Turek, CNP. All are from Sanford USD Medical Center.
