WORTHINGTON - Worthington #3, of the Worthington High School Knowledge Bowl team, placed second in sub-regional competition Friday at Jackson County Central.
Fulda #1 of Fulda High School finished in first place at the 31-team event. All four of the WHS Knowledge Bowl teams managed to qualify for next Friday’s Region 8 Knowledge Bowl competition, which will take place at Southwest State University in Marshall..
The WHS Knowledge Bowl team is coached by Pat Rolfes and Kris Besel. Rolfes said Friday marked the first time in recent history that all of the WHS teams qualified for the regional competition.
