Windom man dies in motorcycle crash

BERGEN - A Windom man died Thursday as a result of a motorcycle crash in rural Jackson County.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash, which took place approximately 2½ miles north of Bergen on Jackson County 21, at approximately 4:50 p.m. Thursday. Adam Gorden, 32, of Windom was southbound on Jackson County 21 when he lost control of a 2004 Buel Roadster motorcycle he was driving. Gorden entered the east ditch and struck a field approach.
Gorden was transported to the Windom Hospital, where he died from injuries he sustained in the crash.
Assisting at the scene was the Minnesota State Patrol, Windom Fire and Windom Ambulance. The accident remains under investigation.
